Can't Get Enough

Alfonzo, Ascension, Anarchy, Atonement and Awakening.... What can I say? What I can say is once your read book one you won't be able to stop. Alfonzo's World is hard as hip hop, soft like a beautiful love song and then smoothed out like jazz with a nice glass of wine.
It's a shame Amazon's rate system goes as high as five stars.

So, if your hesitant about the books and reading reviews. Try them you have nothing to loose and everything to gain. Let S.W. Frank

Hanging by Strings

Sneaking fruit from the forbidden tree. The second time leads to the third. Stolen moments of escstacy. The taste of sin can be bitter sweet. In those moments you feel so alive, but you know it's not right.Passion soon turns into pain. Who will be left standing in the end?

I took my time writting a review to this book. I didn't know exactly what should be said until I heard a song. I was captivated by the first verse. So, I chopped it up with it's words and mine.

I truely love this authors work. I bought her first four over the course of three days, staying up as long as I could. To me Alfonzo's World is just that good.

So if your ready buckle up. Atonement is setting the stage for the next few books.

A keenly intelligent writer... S.W. Frank!

Tequila shots.. Yep! S. W. Frank has me seeing stars. I've read these books many times and it's like the first each time.
My bestie who just resently picked up Alfonzo's World made a comment. I was like whoa! I didn't think about that. Damn, I've
got to go back over that. Frank's creativity and the way she's weaved her characters together. Extraordinary... Aleast in my eyes.

Awesome!

Alfonzo... I just happened to be looking for a good book and I came across Alfonzo.
What I liked most about this book is that even though it's surrounding Alfonzo and Selange.
Reading you know there will be a part two because there are stories with in the storyline.
Like what was Luzo and Alberti's meaning behind not disclosing who he really is? Nico and
Vincent. These two characters had a small but strong presence in the story. Will we see how
the came to be enforcers? Nico has a girlfriend who's a lawyer Ariana and two kids. How and
why would he? Only to keep them secret or so he thinks. Alfonzo and his mother Maria. Who
were once very close now that her secret has come out what does this do to them?

S.W. Frank has just been added to my Favorite Author list. Thank you for
a most excellent read. Oh yeah! If your reading this review and are undecided

Alex Kennedy

I'd like to start off by saying Megan Hart your ending was perfectly realistic.I enjoyed this book and was on fence about making the purchase. Tempted.. Didn't want to like it because I fell in love with Alex and Olivia having read Naked first. Only I knew in order to gain more in sight on Alex I'd have to read it. I just want my feeling towards Naked tainted with Anne.

Alex is a beautifully flawed gem. No matter what the mystey may be behind it's imperfections you can't stop the wanting.

Under it all Alex just yearns to be in love and in return. So he does things and in doing so creates a barrier only letting
James and Anne. Only he's always loved James and James he.. He was just smart enough to know some lines you don't cross no
matter how much you want to. James being his constant. He knew it was more important. Alex really is a gentle caringly sensitive
soul with wounds that have yet to heal completely.

James is the kind of man you think has his head in the clouds, until he let's you know it's been anything but. I believe
James is in love with two people. He just happens to love his wife Anne more than Alex. Alex and he have what some would
call an unhealthy realationship and I disagree. Most people live the life they believe they should live because of how they where raised and in the end it's all they know. So you shut of the urges to break out that box till your around that one person whom makes your remember or think maybe... This being Alex.

Anne is an interesting character who has inner demons she hasn't faced. Being Mrs. Fix It well to me this keeps her on the straight
and narrow. Ignoring things that are the problem because she knows how to stop, but just can't bring herself to until Alex.

Alex, James and Anne come together for a Summer that opens up secrets. Sets of hidden desires of lust and love. She tackles many issues
very nicely. With most common out comes when you think on it. Patricia wasn't going to leave Sean. He was all she knew and no matter what she wanted her family together. Claire to was realistic and figured out sister girl was on the girls team.

Alex and Anne's connection was pain, fear and a yearning for love. In the end both knew their love for james was stronger for he loved them both unconditionally. Flaws and all. How could you hurt that. Alex and Anne may have fallen in love, but both knew it wasn't meant to be....

Loved It and Hated It Too

I've read this book a total of 10 times. I gave this book four stars. I hurt for Kitty and hated Ash alot at times. First I thought he didn't love Kitty but now I understand with the circumstances of their situation he really did. In the end he was willing to put her happiness above his own because he loved her.I realize for blacks and whites who were really in love back then they were limited with very few choices. I suppose his losing Kitty and having to son give up his son. The last real connection to Kitty outside of the memories he held onto pushed deep down and away in his heart created fear of loss. You can tell he didn't recover from his loss of Kitty. Leading to the fear of losing another he loved. His wife and kids. Overall a good read

An Unexpected Change Of Direction

Mrs. Phal... She caught me off guard in a lovely way with The Concubine. This is a story of love, self preservation, misunderstandings and betrayal told through one woman's eyes like a book of poetry.

Francette drew me in with words like... Breathless, enthralled by your predator grace, I watch as you make your way to me. Your every footfall stifled by the carpet, your gaze pinions me to the spot, heated, and smoldering it elicits delicious shivers.. I will happily continue down her rabbit hole with books like this and The Bet Series

Love Lies Dormant

Mason and Kari's love is like showers you'd never seen falling from the sky. But after too many times of being blinded by Mason's light. Kari had decieded to push his love into the deep shadows of her heart.

Flag On The Play is latest book in the series. Lolah wastes no time in giving us more. In it we see communication and understanding not only with themselves,but with each other. Bravo!You were definately on one writting this. With one more book left I will be sad to see the Mason/Kari drama end.

Sunlfower

For most you have to look harder. Looking past something in order to find the beauty in a Sunflower. Nicole Tavis never stopped to analyze her feeling. Why all of a sudden her palms became sweaty? Why her heart began to beat erratically? Why she became noticeable nervous, but argumentative towards Brent Sinclair.

Brent Sinclair.. Became enchanted at first sight of Nicole Travis. Fevered with love it took over his mind and he was powerless. He waited. He was driven. He was mesmeried. Not able to escape. He had to find a way.

Love Is Only A Whisper is just that. A nice little whisper of a back and forth Love Story between to unlikey's whom make each other whole.

The Bomb...Yeah You!,

Laugh about? I can now. Amazing! I know now. The Unearthing of Blackstone was my first purchase by Tianna LaVeen, but it definatley won't be my last. A hidden gem to me I didn't know about, but I'd heard about. This book hit me like a sledge hammer.

Smoking like fire was the chemistry I'd felt throughout the read.She created wonderfully/fully developed characters. Both Ace Blackstone and Brooklyn Greene certainly weren't looking love when they accidently found it but each new they needed it. Reconizing the need in each other for the other. Fighting life demons together. Ace didn't know what he'd stumble across when he was hired to find Brooklyn.

T. LaVeen has woven together a nicely packaged story about an Anthropology Archeologist and Detective teaching us in the mist of a love story. And all I have say now is... Yeah you the ____ :)

Love Waiting In The Wings

A love story that came together so naturally and beautifully. Two lonely broken people carring around unfilled hearts. Only to meet by chance. A noticeable electricty between the two that can't be ignored, but they do. No matter how hard neither could stop the yearning. The wanting of lifes pleasure with the other.

Red Sun is a nice coming of age novel of two people not sure how to love and be loved in return letting someone in.

A Vacancy Left In Hearts

Hurt. One left behind suffering struggling to find their way after aTragedy. Two empty wanting hearts. Hope was brought to these three unsuspecting individuals who didn't know they were in need. But a sharing of light that slowly feeds allows them each to breathe. Breaking out of the dark and feeling more than safe. A blooming love. Suddenly creates a colorful picture with gray.

The Boss Lady is a nice stand alone by one of my favorite authors.
